Happy 1st Birthday, James!

James is learning and growing by the minute it seems. I was going to wait and update after his 1 year check up but there is too much going on! His 3rd tooth popped through Sunday night and the 4th one is right behind. He can stand on his own usually for about ten seconds and then will sit himself back down. He's becoming more courageous and tries new things. He can climb up stairs very well. We only have a few but he loves doing it. He can point to his "head" and when you tell him he's SOO big he will raise his hands above his head like in the picture below. He can follow so many requests: Come and eat, time for bath, time for bed, let's go in the car, etc. He's developed quite the little attitude as well. Sometimes he will throw a mini tantrum when he doesn't get his way. We can't wait to celebrate his birthday on Sunday!

Eating tacos at Moe's on Father's Day. We said he was such a big boy for eating the big taco by himself so of course, he showed us how big he is!

When I fold laundry, I've been putting in the middle of the living room. He will come over and bury his head in the nice warm clothes.

We got a tent for the kids to play in on Sunday. James was helping set it up.

But he wouldn't go in unless Dad went in. It was too crinkly for him!

Didn't like the sound it made. The texture might have been weird, too, but he kept crawling through it all the while whining.

Travis dared me I couldn't fit through. Ha! I'll show him. I was laughing so hard, it upset James. I think he thought I was stuck or it was hurting me.
